Closing Remarks from RDR for 2011

7.9.11....Dear Staff, Thank you for providing such good leadership for the most imaginative campers which I've ever enjoyed.
In checking my notes through the many years (since 1984 in Session 4), I've never made the notes of how cooperative the
young people were. Did you notice the campus cleanup line did its work within 10 minutes? How 'bout that! Your enjoyment
of the 'family style session' technique was apparent on your faces as you received more time to visit with other counselors
than ever. I had the same privilege. The theme 'Feed My Sheep' enjoyed the finest teaching (10 teachers overall, with a
backup for each one equalling 20 persons willing to teach). Thanks, again. And, that red sunset! My, oh, my...what a
peaceful full sunset with the thinning of clouds which allowed us to see the sunset so long. I'm looking forward to 2012
and the life of David undergirding 'Analyze and Adjust' as the theme. Hope you will be able to be with us; Lord willing, I will
check your schedule beginning in late March next year. God bless. Robert Rawson

SPRING RETREAT 2011

Spring Retreat was a great time! We talked all weekend about "Things I Wish I Would Have Known.." with the idea of counselors and others speaking in areas where they have been and looking back, had advice for the teens. Thanks to everyone who had a hand in making it a success. Please get your application in ASAP for Session 4 - July 3-9, 2011. www.sardislakechristiancamp.org

Also, make plans to join us for the benefit dinner at the camp on March 26th at 5:00. This is a time to help raise money to help further SLCC!
